Acoola, formerly known as Tip Top Shade, are experts in the world of innovative luxury shade solutions for your outdoor living space. Since Belgian entrepreneur Didier Dewyn took over the company two years ago, Acoola has quickly diversified and expanded, venturing into the world of complementary outdoor items such as outdoor furniture and fireplaces. When Didier met Svetlana Dimitrova from Arte del Lusso, it made excellent sense that they would form a working partnership.

Arte del Lusso offer shade solutions for inside the home – from curtains and blinds to skylight systems – so between the two companies they collaboratively offer a wide range of contemporary shade solutions for the entire home, inside and out.  Didier decided that the best way to highlight their products, and demonstrate how they can come together harmoniously within the home, would be to set up a show flat. This would help clients better visualise how the products look, and see for themselves how the systems work in a real home setting.

The show flat itself is set up in the hills in the Selwo area, just 10 minutes from the coast. The overall look of the show flat is extremely welcoming, with a chic contemporary design filled with cutting-edge brands that all complement each other perfectly. You will find Manutti’s Moon Island lounge furniture, Acoola shade sails, camo nets, a HeatSail Dome infrared heater that doubles-up as a lamp, chic dining furniture by Cane-line, an outdoor floor standing lamp by Royal Botania, the famous OFYR fire pit, which also serves as a barbecue, innovative vertical blinds by Création Baumann and Silent Gliss, sheer curtains, an Ecosmart bioethanol fireplace… the list goes on.

If you would like to know more about any aspect of the show flat, visit Svetlana in the Arte del Lusso showroom at the bottom of Calle Lagasca (by BBVA) in San Pedro de Alcántara (www.artedellusso.es); or Didier at the Acoola showroom situated in Calle Luxemburgo in Polígono Industrial San Pedro Alcántara (www.acoola.eu).
